What are some common signs of bed bugs?
Because bed bugs are generally nocturnal and come out to feed when you’re resting, seeing actual bed bugs isn’t the most reliable way to tell if you have an infestation. Bed bug bites are another sign of bed bugs, however not every person reacts to them.
What is the most effective bed bug control?
Bed bug infestations can come in all different shapes and sizes and can require different methods to control. Terminix bed bug control begins with a thorough inspection of your home. Our professionals are trained to spot the signs of bed bugs and find where they’re hiding.
Can you DIY bed bug control?
Bed bugs are notoriously difficult to remove and control. Not only are they good at staying hidden, but infestations can grow very quickly. You need to know where the bed bugs are hiding to properly remove them, and failed attempts to do so may result in the infestation growing worse.

Follow-up bed bug inspections
Bed bugs are sneaky. You may never actually see them but they leave tell-tale signs like: blood on your sheets or pajamas, molted skin/exoskeletons, fecal matter on your mattress or sheets, raised red welts on skin, burning and itching, straight line of bites, bites in a localized area. If you see any of these signs and need bed bug removal, call us for a FREE bed bugs inspection.
While bed bugs aren’t known to transmit diseases, their bites itch and burn. That’s where the chances for harm come in. Excessive scratching may cause damage to the skin which can present a risk of infection.
Our bed bug control solutions begin working immediately though you may still see a handful of bed bugs shortly after the treatment. After treatment, we will follow up the week after to inspect again to ensure that the bed bugs are gone.
It is possible for bed bugs to return after treatment since they can enter your home at any time by being carried in on clothing, luggage or furniture. However, if bed bugs return within 6 months from the point of your initial treatment, Terminix will retreat – at no additional cost to you.
1If you see evidence of bed bugs in your home within 6 months of your initial treatment date, We will perform an inspection and provide any necessary treatment at no extra cost. 6-month guarantee only available for single-family dwelling units. Limitations apply. See Plan for details.
